Abstract

This paper studies the impact of political discourse of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's government on commercial and trade interactions of Iran and European Union and it analysis the discourse of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ahmadinejad's government through the effects of politics on the economy. Results of this paper show that the politics of détente government of Seyyed Mohammad Khatami will change in to principle oriented idealism discourse of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad because of the existence of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's revolutionary and idealistic policies and the sanctions that were imposed because of the policy of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran during the pursuit of Iran's nuclear case which has led to establishing five United Nations Security Council Resolutions against Iran and also US and Western oil sanctions. The five United Nations Security Council Resolutions against Iran and also US and Western oil sanctions that stalled the process of international trade between the European Union and Iran. We are not witness of a clear trend in trade sphere and the trade relations and interactions between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the European Union in Ahmadinejad's government because of the adoption of anti-international norms in the field of foreign policy and opposition to the trend that was established in the previous governments more precisely.
