%0 Journal Article %T Use of a discrete choice method to assess the willingness of the population to pay for high-tech medical care %A Mikhail Dmitriev %A Ilya Neystadt %A Anna Larina %J Journal of Advanced Pharmacy Education and Research %@ 2249-3379 %D 2020 %V 10 %N 1 %P 214-220 %X As part of the current study, an attempt to assess the willingness to incur additional costs that ensure increased access to advanced medical technologies was made by using the discrete choice methodology on a representative sample of the urban Russian population. The results of the study carried out indicate that there are preconditions to attract significant financial resources to pay for medical services related to the increased use of advanced medical technologies, at the expense of the population funds and budgetary sources.
