This study used a pretest/posttest quasi-experimental design. A sample of convenience was recruited including 76 Intensive Care Unit nurses. Before and after the training program, three tools were used to gather data pertinent to the current study; a- Pre/Post-test knowledge assessment questionnaire, b- Nurses' Practices Observational Checklist, and c- Adverse Drug Events monitoring sheet. The data was collected for six months. Most of the sample being studied had satisfactory knowledge level, and the majority had satisfactory practice level after implementing the pharmacovigilance program. The most frequently reported signs and symptoms by nurses were rash, itching, fever, tachycardia, and arrhythmias in percentages of 19.2%, 16.7, 14.1, 14.1 10.2, respectively, and the most frequently reported drug category was antibiotics (42.3%).
